PTF-Sentinel intervention monitoring
PTF-Sentinel is a newly developed intervention sensor for safe removal monitoring during order picking, e.g. in parts provision. (article)

State-of-the-art laser sensors detect with 50 measurements per second whether an authorised or incorrect intervention (e.g. a removal or deposit) is taking place in a container. In this way, employees can be immediately alerted acoustically or visually in the event of incorrect handling.

Sensitivity and detection range of the Sentinel sensor technology are individually configurable and enable reliable intervention measurement from front, top and side. In addition, it is ensured that movements outside the defined intervention area are not detected.

PTF-Sentinel can be integrated into almost all pick-by-light modules. This means that, in addition to the intervention monitoring function, the user also has the proven compartment display features such as the divided, multi-coloured eye-catching lamp, numerical display indication and other functions at his disposal.

LED Pointer
The „point-to-pick“ feature  provides a new pick-by-light display option for additional compartment illumination. An LED spot light additionally illuminates the shelf or removal compartment.

3 Spot effects:
3 different spot effects for optical support in order picking.
The spot can either turn on simultaneously with the eye-catching lamp, or flash for visual reinforcement or alternate with the eye-catching lamp.

Version:
The pointer module can be mounted below (DOWN version) or above the shelf display (UP version)  and thus complements the eye-catching lamp by even clearer identification of the removal compartment.
